Welcome to my website! My name is Marie Theriault, and I offer Qigong, Tai Chi, and Yoga classes in my private studio in Waxhaw, NC, and virtually. Various styles of Yoga are offered including Chair Yoga, Yoga Flow and Yoga for Cancer classes.

Qigong and Tai Chi classes are a nice option for those who have found Yoga uncomfortable or are looking for a different exercise experience. Qigong and Tai Chi practices bring a deep level of healing to the mind and the body through flowing, meditative movements.

Marie completed 600 hours in certified Qigong training and has been teaching Qigong classes since 2011. This Chinese energy healing art blends gentle movements, breathing and mind focus to strengthen a person's ability to heal.

Marie is a Registered Yoga Teacher having completed 200 hours of training in a Yoga Alliance approved Integrated Hatha Yoga program.

Chair Yoga is a safe and effective style of Yoga which modifies traditional Yoga poses to make them more accessible to those with mild to moderate physical limitations or health concerns.
